Jason Tubinis Joins the Law Library
Suzanne Graham, Cataloging Services Librarian

This month the Law Library welcomed Jason Tubinis as our new Information Technology Librarian. Jason’s exceptional educational and work background combines computer science, library science, and law. He earned both his J.D. and M.L.S. degrees at SUNY—Buffalo where he also worked as a systems administrator.

Jason is a self-professed lover of all things “geeky:” particle colliders, internet memes, the latest and greatest video game, and all things cool-but-in-a-weird way are his passion. The fun he derives from talking about plankton powered televisions and slinging around polyhedral dice is only rivaled by his love for casually strolling (and not-so-casually hiking) any park in sight. While he has a tough time telling the difference between a wisteria and a witch hazel, he's an amateur horticulturist looking to develop his green thumb amongst all the beautiful gardens here on campus.

Macs in Lab
Brad Grove, Help Desk Manager
The Law School has added two 27 inch iMacs to its Annex Computer Lab for student use. Each features 4GB memory and 3.2 GHz Intel Core i3 processors. In addition a dual screen PC has also been put in place. This will allow students to work together on projects or presentations, especially those with a multimedia component.  We've also installed new furniture to accommodate this collaborative approach.
Lunch-n-Learn: Exam Preparation
Please join the Law Library at our next Lunch-n-Learn. Student Services Librarian Maureen Cahill will share resources and strategies for preparing for exams.
