How to Brief and Argue Appeals

This session in the Alumni Advocacy Series was held in classroom B at the University of Georgia School of Law on February 7, 2007.

Abstract

Accomplished Georgia Law alumni Susan Boleyn (J.D.'76) and Michael Terry (J.D.'87) addressed how one should brief and argue appeals. Boleyn, a senior assistant attorney general for the state of Georgia, focused on "How to Write an Effective Brief." Terry, a partner with the Atlanta law firm Bondurant, Mixson & Elmore, addressed "How to Make an Impact with Oral Argument.
