The Sports and Entertainment Law Society (SELS) presented the 6th Annual Protect Athens Music Conference at the 40 Watt in Downtown Athens,GA on March 1, 2016. The event was free to attend and open to the public. The event featured two panels, the Georgia Producers Panel and the Current State of Affairs in Ticketing Panel.

The Georgia Producers Panel focused on record prodcuers in Georgia, and their views on music culture at a local, state-wide, and national level. With the help of Georgia Music, the panelists featured an extremely exciting group of producers who have shaped the Georgia music scene across a variety of genres. The Current State of Affairs in Ticketing Panel discussed Pandora's 2015 purchase of Ticketfly and how the ticketing industry remains one of the most viable, if not fully understood, areas of ticketing. The speakers represented state ticketing companies as well as local venues.
