Associate Professor Lisa Milot’s article “What Are We--Laborers, Factories or Spare Parts? The Tax Treatment of Transfers of Human Body Materials” (67 Washington and Lee Law Review 1053 (2010)) was cited by the United States Tax Court in Perez v. Commissioner, a case concerning the proper taxation of proceeds from egg donation.
