Vanderbilt Law's Professor Christopher Slobogin prior to his faculty colloquium talk on September 9, 2018, speaks with Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Georgia School of Law Sandra Mayson to discuss policing in a technological age. Slobogin discusses aggressive search tactics by police using technologies today and suggests we reconsider the definition of "search" and fully reconsider the Fourth Amendment where he believes there is precedent in many cases. Slobogin gives examples and talks about the difference between probably cause and reasonable suspicion.
