Abstract
Georgia Law outshines other schools w/ ABA posts

End Date: 2006-06-30 Sara Barnhart, Katie Bates, Mark Boyd, Lauren Kruck, Milind Dongre, Beau Howell, John Jett, Sivram Prasad and Sarah Stephens have been appointed as student vice chairs within the ABA's Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section. Catherine Clarke, Jim Fletcher and Thomas Soldan will serve a second year in their previous vice chair posts. Additionally, Fletcher will be the student liaison to the Long Range Planning Committee, and Aaron Walter, a 2006 graduate, will be the Law Student Board chair.
Georgia Law mourns Louis Sohn

End Date: 2006-06-16 Georgia Law is sad to announce the death of Louis B. Sohn, former holder of the school's Woodruff Chair in International Law. He died June 7 at the age of 92. He had an extraordinary career, including as a teacher, scholar, adviser to governments and international organizations and activist. Sohn was well known for his roles in international policy analysis and interpretation, and served as a legal officer to the United Nations Secretariat during its formative years. He taught at Georgia Law for more than a decade.
