Georgia Law wins regionals in Frederick Douglas Moot Court Competition

End Date: 2008-02-14 Congratulations to second-year students Melanie D. Reed and Arlisa A. Woodard who won the regional round of the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition. They will go on to compete in the national competition held in March. Also, congratulations to second-year students ShaMiracle S. Johnson and Christine A. Saunders who won the Best Brief Award. Both teams were coached by third-year student Aimee L. Pickett.

Lisa Mathis presented with staff service award

End Date: 2008-01-18 The School of Law Staff Council presented Lisa C. Mathis with the 2007 Emma P. Terrell Employee of the Year Award in December. This annual award recognizes and rewards employees for their service to the law school. Mathis has worked at the law school since 2002 and currently serves as its events coordinator.
