Final work of the late Brock Professor L. Ray Patterson to be published; book to be dedicated in his memory

End Date: 2009-01-09 The last writings of former Georgia Law Brock Professor L. Ray Patterson, who passed away in 2003, will be published in a forthcoming issue of the Houston Law Review under the title "A Unified Theory of Copyright." Additionally, Stanford Law Professor Lawrence Lessig has dedicated his book "Remix: Making Art and Commerce Thrive in the Hybrid Economy" in memory of the renowned copyright scholar.

Carlson to be featured on WNEG-TV

Lanphere receives 2008 Emma Terrell Distinguished Employee Award; others honored for service

Alumni Advocacy program targets brief writing for 1Ls

End Date: 2009-01-11 On January 14 at 4:30 p.m. Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough Partner Holly A. Pierson (J.D.'96) and Cbeyond Communications Vice President and Corporate Counsel Bill H. Weber (J.D.'96) will present "Arguing the Appeal: In Court and In Writing," which is the first program of the 2009 Alumni Advocacy Series. The program will take place in classroom A and is open to all law students, however seating priority will go to first-year students.
