Title
Georgia Law Prosecutorial Clinic students file appeal
Abstract
Six Georgia Law students in the school's Prosecutorial Clinic recently had the opportunity to handle the state of Georgia's response to an out-of-time appeal filed by William Walsh, who was convicted of child molestation in 1997 in Walton County. Clinic Director Alan A. Cook, who successfully tried the original case, oversaw the writing of the brief while his students provided supporting research used to refute the appellant's enumerations of error. A decision in the case is not expected for several months.
