Third-year law student wins national writing competition

Abstract

Congratulations to third-year law student Erica M. Weber for winning the FoxKiser Annual Writing Competition in Law, Science & Medicine. Her paper, titled "Deoxyribonucleic Acid TRIPS: Gene Patents in the United States and their Problematic Domestic and International Consequences," was unanimously chosen by the review committee for first place. The competition is designed to encourage multi-disciplinary scholarly writing and is sponsored by the law firm FoxKiser located in Washington, D.C.
