Working in the Public Interest Law Conference,2012
Abstract
Entirely student organized, WIPI seeks to bring together eminent practitioners in their respective fields, students, and faculty to discuss practical approaches to lawyering which can promote social justice and human rights for all. This conference seeks to highlight dynamic, creative ways to combat social injustice through the vehicle of the law.
This year's conference includes discussion of Student Loans, Sustainability and Ethics of Animal Farming Practices, Alternative Careers for J.D.s, Domestic Violence, and advice for solo practitioners, judicial injustice, and the lasting impact of the Troy Davis case.
