Sibley Professor Larry D. Thompson was featured in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for donating, along with his wife, a prominent collection of works by African-American artists to the Georgia Museum of Art. The two have also funded an endowment to support a new curatorial position at the museum, titled the Larry D. and Brenda A. Thompson Curator of the African Diaspora.
