Edith House Scrapbook
Abstract
This scrapbook was compiled by the Women Law Students' Association (WLSA). It begins with a newspaper photograph of the University of Georgia Senior Class. Gussie Brooks and Edith House, the first female graduates of the law school, are in the back row, far right side. The scrapbook ends with a news announcement of Miss House's death in December 1987 and Gwen Wood's memorial tribute delivered on April 6, 1988.
The Law Library chose to retain the arrangement and special character of the scrapbook. The original is available for viewing by contacting the Special Collections Librarian.
