ATHENS, Ga. - The University of Georgia School of Law advanced to the semi-final round of the National Moot Court Competition held in New York City the week of Jan. 27-30. Unfortunately, they were defeated by Wayne State University Law School, which went on to win the national championship.
The School of Law's team, sponsored by Hawkins & Parnell, LLP, was comprised of third-year students Nathan D. Cronic and Stacey A. Carroll. They were coached by Director of Advocacy Kellie Casey. This year's appearance at the competition is the third in a row for UGA and the 10th in 12 years. ##
