LAW STUDENTS WIN PRESTIGIOUS SUMMER FELLOWSHIP
ATHENS, Ga. -- Two students at the University of Georgia School of Law have been awarded fellowships from the National Association for Public Interest Law (NAPIL) Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) Summer Legal Corps.
NAPIL/VISTA will fund Marcy Jolles' service at the North Tulsa Neighborhood Alliance in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Stephanie Williams' service at Georgia Legal Services in Augusta.
"NAPIL summer fellowships are highly competitive," said Legal Career Services Director Beth Kirch. "To have even one candidate selected is a tremendous honor. We are particularly proud to have two fellows for the summer of 1997. This reflects well on both the fellows and the law school."
Jolles, a rising second-year student, is from Augusta, and Williams, a rising third-year student, is from Louisville, Georgia.
