Abstract

In this Article Professor Chaffin, Reporter for the Georgia Fiduciary Law Study Committee of the State Bar of Georgia makes the second major report of his findings and recommendations. The first report, A Reappraisal of the Wealth Transmission Process: The Surviving Spouse, Year's Support and the Intestate Succession, appeared in 10 Georgia Law Review 447 (1976). In the second report Professor Chaffin suggests ways in which the statutes may be amended to better effect the fulfillment of testator's intent while still protecting his wishes against fraud.
