Lanier receives research grant from the Borchard Foundation Center on Law & Aging
Abstract
Mediation Practicum Managing Attorney Eleanor Crosby Lanier has received a $20,000 research grant from the Borchard Foundation Center on Law & Aging. Lanier will research both legal and practical barriers to the entry of limited guardianship orders as well as conduct a content analysis of self-help information on government and court websites to determine the extent to which information about limited guardianship is available. Her goal is to advance collective knowledge about the practical barriers and provide recommendations for overcoming them so that limited orders can be entered where they are appropriate.
