Walter Hellerstein gives talk on VAT and economic globalization
Abstract
Distinguished Research Professor & Shackelford Distinguished Professor in Taxation Law Walter Hellerstein spoke on a panel that addressed "Applying VAT to International Trade - The Challenge of Economic Globalization" at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's first Global Forum on VAT. This invitation only event, which included participants from over 70 countries, as well as representatives from business and academia, took place in Paris, France, during November.
