Baradaran speaks at National Press Club on her book "How the Other Half Banks"
Abstract
In honor of Harvard University Press' release of Associate Professor Mehrsa Baradaran's book "How the Other Half Banks," there was a breakfast discussion on America's banking system held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., that featured: Simon Johnson, professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management; Lisa Donner, the executive director of Americans for Financial Reform; David Dayen, journalist; and Baradaran. Discussions centered on the complexities of the American banking system and the potential solution of postal banking.
