Students Persuade 11th Circuit to Revive Inmate's Lawsuit
Abstract
Associate Dean for Clinical Programs and Experiential Learning Erica J. Hashimoto was featured in the Daily Report regarding a team of Georgia Law graduates who persuaded a federal appeals court to reinstate a lawsuit for a state prisoner. Former Appellate Litigation Clinic students Corey J. Goerdt (J.D.’15) and Nicola M. Rossi (J.D.’15) earned a victory for their client in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in the case of Brooks v. Warden, et al.
