First Amendment Clinic featured in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Abstract
The University of Georgia School of Law's First Amendment Clinic was featured in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution regarding a referendum lawsuit relating to Atlanta's planned public safety training center. The article titled "Training center battle tests Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens' messaging" was written by Riley Bunch and published 10/19/23.
The clinic filed an amicus brief during September with the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in support of the plaintiffs-appellees in City of Atlanta v. Baker, Case No. 23-12469. The brief was co-authored by Clinical Assistant Professor & First Amendment Clinic Director Clare R. Norins, Georgia Journalism and Access Project Attorney Samantha C. Hamilton and First Amendment Clinic Fellow Ashley Fox.
