Abstract

Robert MacCrate, immediate past president of the American Bar Association and keynote speaker for the Law Day 1989 observance at the Law School, April 22, cautioned that lawyers' "preoccupation with the bottom line" risks a loss of professional identity. Dean Rusk was sworn into the Georgia State Bar. Distinguished Service Award awarded to Verner Chaffin as well as Ed and Virginia Killorin.
