Abstract

Wade H. Mc Cree, Jr. , Solicitor General of the United States, delivered the winter quarter Sibley Lecture at the School of Law March 8. His lecture, entitled "The Academy and the Court," will be published in a forthcoming issue of the Georgia Law Review. McCree is the federal governments lawyer in cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. He decides which government cases will be appealed to the next highest court level and his office supervises all appeals matters conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice.
