Abstract

Waller receives NALP Service Excellence Award

Friday, May 25, 2018

Associate Director of Career Development Tony Waller, who serves as the public interest and government employment specialist for the School of Law, has been awarded the National Association for Law Placement Service Excellence Award, which recognizes individuals who go "above and beyond and make notable contributions to NALP and its members."

NALP Board members noted that Waller "enthusiastically shepherded and shaped the JD Career Advisors Section since its creation in 2016 and most recently spearheaded a three Section project on law student professionalism that resulted in 10 videos on how students can best navigate the interviewing process professionally. He has given generously of his time to numerous projects for the membership at large, having served on the Board of Directors, the Nominating Committee, the Conference Planning Committee, the Technology Resource Group, and on the Bylaws Committee that introduced the Borda voting method for NALP’s election."
