Congratulations to second-year law student Robert Daily for winning the 2018 Donald C. Alexander Writing Competition sponsored by the Federal Bar Association Section on Taxation. His paper, titled "Betting on An Uncertain Future: The Tax Consequences of Large Third-Party Litigation Financing," was selected based on the depth of research; originality of thought; quality, clarity, and efficiency of presentation; and relevance to current tax policy or events.
