Waller named to Equal Justice Works' National Advisory Committee

Wednesday, August 9, 2017

Associate Director of Career Development Tony Waller, who serves as the public interest and government employment specialist for the School of Law, has been named a member of the Equal Justice Works' National Advisory Committee. Equal Justice Works is the leading nonprofit organization committed to mobilizing and strengthening the public interest community, and the committee convenes a diverse group of eight law students and eight law school professionals to act as EJW ambassadors within the law school and legal services communities. Members provide leadership, feedback and outreach assistance to support the organization’s goal of helping students develop a lifelong commitment of working on behalf of underrepresented individuals, communities and causes.

"I am honored to serve as the Southeastern school representative on the National Advisory Committee and to be a voice for our students and schools in developing programing and project areas to help mobilize the next generation of lawyers committed to social justice," Waller said.

He will serve a two-year term.
