Haygood and Patton argue before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit
Abstract
Third-year students and Appellate Litigation Clinic participants Andrew C. Haygood and Joshua H. Patton argued the case Esteban-Lopez v. Garland before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. The clinic's client was seeking deferral of removal under the Convention Against Torture. Third-year student Kendra Hansey Õiglane helped the pair to prepare for the argument.
