Students gain victory in U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit

Congratulations to third-year Appellate Litigation Clinic students Victoria A. Cuneo and Steven L. Strasberg, who earned a victory for their client in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in the case of Austin v. Plumley. After full briefing and oral argument, the court vacated the judgment of the district court and remanded for the district court to issue a conditional writ of habeas corpus.
