The 31st Annual Red Clay Conference on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the University of Georgia School of Law.

The Red Clay Conference is an annual student run conference at the University of Georgia School of Law. This event was established to increase public awareness of environmental issues on a regional, national, and international level through a series of educational presentations and open forum discussions. The Conference attracts attorneys as well as students and interested members of the Athens community.

This year’s Conference will focus on public lands and the interests they protect. Specifically, it consists of one keynote speaker, one individual speaker, and three panels, which will address the following topics: the making of a national park, property interests impacted by changing shorelines, land conservation and species rehabilitation.
