Lockaby argues before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit
Wednesday, December 19, 2018As part of the law school’s Appellate Litigation Clinic, third-year student C. Daniel Lockaby presented oral argument before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Lockaby represented the clinic’s client in Brooks v. Jacumin et al., a Section 1983 case where the client was tased three times in one minute and ten seconds for refusing to have his photograph taken during a temporary visit to a detention center. Third-year students Wade Barron and Sarah Quattrocchi assisted in writing the briefs and in argument preparations.
