Sparks wins best oralist at regional National Moot Court Competition, team advances to national tier

Congratulations to third-year students Lauren E. Lutton, Taryn P. Winston and Margaret "Maggie" Sparks for finishing as finalists in the Region 5 contest of the National Moot Court Competition. Sparks earned best oralist honors, and the trio qualified to compete in the national championship round of the tournament to be held in New York City during January. Third-year student B. Elizabeth "Liz" Tarver served as a volunteer bailiff, and second-year students Philip Poole and Stephen Mulherin assisted with the team's preparation.
