UGA School of Law leads July state bar exam passage rates for fourth year
Abstract
UGA School of Law leads July state bar exam passage rates for fourth year
Monday, October 30, 2017Results for the July 2017 state bar exam have been released and we are excited to share that for the fourth consecutive year, graduates of the University of Georgia School of Law had the highest passage rate both overall and for first-time test takers on the July exam. We are especially proud to report that our passage rate for first-time test takers was 89.3 percent. These results are the direct outcome of both the tremendous effort these young lawyers put into their preparation for this challenging test and the first-rate preparation and training they receive in the classroom and through real-world experiential opportunities.
Our commitment to every student who enters the School of Law is to prepare them for success in their careers and to provide the skills they need to be leaders in their chosen field or in their community. Through programs like BEST (Bar Exam Support Team), which launched in 2015, we are extending that commitment beyond graduation and through the bar preparation process.
Our law school continues to be recognized by multiple national sources both as one of the top schools in the nation and best returns on investment in legal education. We want to take this opportunity to thank our alumni/ae and friends who contribute in so many ways not only to this institution, but more importantly to the future success of our students.
