U.S. Deputy Attorney General Yates delivers Georgia Law graduation speech
Abstract
Sally Quillian Yates, U.S. deputy attorney general, delivered the keynote address at Georgia Law's Commencement. Yates, a 1986 magna cum laude graduate of Georgia Law, was confirmed as deputy attorney general in May 2015, after being nominated by President Barack Obama. Approximately 195 students received their Juris Doctor and two students received their Master in the Study of Law at this year’s ceremony. Additionally, approximately 15 Master of Laws candidates, who have completed one year of graduate legal study, were recognized.
