Photograph (front side) of University of Georgia School of Law dean Ron Ellington posing for a photograph sometime in 1992 with two large, framed historical diplomas from the University of Georgia School of Law, donated by the McGregor family of Warrenton, Georgia. The lower diploma is for the baccalaureate degree issued by the University of Georgia on August 10, 1859, to Joseph Milton Roberts. The second diploma, issued by the Lumpkin Law School on June 11, 1861, records Mr. Roberts's law degree; it is signed by Joseph Henry Lumpkin, Thomas R. R. Cobb, and William Hope Hull, the co-founders of the Lumpkin Law School, which preceded the University of Georgia School of Law.
